Gold Ridge Project,
The Gold Ridge Project is a brownfield gold exploration & redevelopment opportunity. The area is under explored and offers significant potential for new gold discoveries.
The Gold Ridge Project comprises three historic mines; the Gold Ridge Mine, the Gold Prince Mine. The mines are located on the lower southern slopes of the Dos Cabezas Mountains over a 1.8km strike within prospective 5km long vein swarm.
Based on historical data the initial exploration target around the mine ranges from 27 k oz to 43k oz. There is additional exploration upside potential provided at depth between mines and laterally along strike.
Historically the Gold Prince mine (#6 adit) produced approximately 22,000 oz through to 1996. The mine was operated by Phelps Dodge Corp., Queenstake from 1984 to 1996 and latterly Western States Mining Corp.
The project lies 85 miles east of Tucson in Dos Cabezas Mining District,
Cochise County, Arizona, USA. It covers an area of 932 hectares, 138 ha of which is owned outright (patented claims). The remainder of the licence areas are held under licence (unpatented claims
Arizona is a mining friendly jurisdiction with an established permitting framework. The Fraser Institute 2017 Investment Attractiveness Index ranked Arizona 2nd by US State (after Nevada) and 9th/91 globally.
In the mid to near term the Company is planning detailed surface, underground, structural and geological mapping followed by an exploration programme design and tender. The Company aims to deliver a phased JORC compliant exploration programme and plan a resource drilling programme at Gold Prince.
